Liability Verdict Results In $150,000 Settlement

Schulman Blitz, LLP settled a case against the City of New York for $150,000 for our client who was injured by a city employee who was driving a City vehicle and hit our client as he was crossing the street. The City’s defense was that the driver of the vehicle was not employed by the City at the time of the accident.  During the trial, Justin Blitz, Esq. proved to the jury that the the defendant driver was employed by the City at the time of the accident.  After receiving this favorable verdict from the jury, the case was settled for $150,000.
