Blitz Law Group settles case for $165,000 for client who fell down flight of stairs at hotel in Midtown Manhattan

Stephanie Mastrocola resolved Blitz Law Group’s Israeli client’s case for $165,000 for injuries she sustained when she fell down a flight of steps at a hotel in midtown Manhattan. Our client was visiting New York City with her daughter to see a couple Broadway shows and when she returned to her hotel, she fell down the steps. The steps were cracked and the tape that provided the steps to not be slippery was sticking up which caused her to trip and fall down the flight of stairs. As a result of the accident our client suffered a fractured nose, a gash on her forehead that required stiches and a chip fracture of her C3 vertebrae in her spine. After an inspection of the steps and negotiations with the insurance company of the hotel Stephanie Mastrocola was able to resolve the case prior to litigation.
