Justin Blitz was able to secure a settlement on behalf of our client’s case for $350,000 for injuries she suffered when an elevator she in at a New York City hospital malfunctioned and dropped several floors. The lawsuit was eventually removed from New York Supreme Court to Federal Court of the Southern District of New York. Though the incident was not witnessed and not recorded on video Mr. Blitz was able to show that the elevator dropping was the cause of our client’s injuries. The injuries sustained from the incident included psychological injuries as well as injuries to our client’s spine. The case was settled after contentious litigation upon the completion of the parties’ depositions.
