Schulman Blitz, LLP Settlement Where Student Struck By Car Leaving BMW Dealer In White Plains
Our client was 16 years old, a sophomore in High School when, on November 30, 2015 while walking with a friend she was struck by a car exiting the driveway of a BMW dealership in White Plains, NY. As a result of the crash, our client was taken by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center and as given a toradol injection to the right deltoid. An X-ray was performed at the hospital and it confirmed a possible avulsion fracture of the right knee. Following his discharge, our client began a course of physical therapy and an MRI of the knee, performed at White Plains Hospital Center’s Department of Radiology confirmed a trabecular fracture.
The bad news is our client had to miss his sophomore season of basketball and gym but did not miss school. The good news is Stephanie Mastrocola, Esq. was able to resolve his case during the litigation for a confidential amount.
